Nuvve is an Americano-European green energy technology company whose mission is to lower the cost of electric vehicle ownership while supporting the integration of renewable energy sources, including solar and wind. Its proprietary vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology is refuelling the next generation of electric vehicle fleets through cutting-edge, bi-directional charging solutions. Since its founding in 2010, Nuvve has been responsible for successful V2G projects on five continents and is deploying commercial services worldwide

Nuvves role in BD4OPEM

As an EV charging infrastructure owner Nuvve is supporting all the activities for the pilot implementation related to testing new services which are centered on bringing value to energy infrastructure actors including DSO’s. The activities are related to provide data, develop and implement services in the BD4OPEM Marketplace platform, integrate with the other partners findings and developments, analyse and give feedback for tuning of the tools developed. The EV services is a perfect testing scenario for different services will be implemented and demonstrated. The demonstration site has been chosen to be the island of Bornholm where Nuvve is active with a charging infrastructure of Vehicle to Grid chargers (V2G) used by local fleet owners. Besides being a data provider and involved in developing new services Nuvve is also participating and consulting on a number of activities throughout the project
